Data retention
How long the platform keeps workspace history, and what happens after delete.
The platform keeps operational history for a fixed global window. The same windows apply to every workspace. There is no longer-retention plan option today.
Charts and Insights views often default to the last eight weeks. That is a display default. You can widen filters within the retained history below.
How long we keep workspace history
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Insights metrics, readiness scorecards, and HR absence history | About 12 months |
| AI usage and spend daily series | About 180 days |
| Soft-deleted workspace (restore window) | 30 days, then permanent delete |
| After you close your account | Personal data may remain up to 12 months, unless law requires longer (see the Privacy Policy) |
Production data for the product sits in the United States (DigitalOcean nyc). Customer source code stays in your own source-control provider.
What is not on a timed purge clock
- Activity log rows stay until the workspace is permanently deleted.
- Engineering Context Graph indexes and wiki pages stay for the life of the workspace (or until reindexed), then go away with workspace delete.
- Files you already downloaded (for example PDFs) stay on your device. Hiding a report or workspace does not erase those copies.
