Cursor Integration
Org-level Cursor usage for the AI adoption views.
What you get
If your company pays for Cursor seats, this connection pulls admin-level stats, how many seats are in use, daily actives, rough spend, into the AI Usage views. Handy when you selected AI Usage & Spend during onboarding.
We only see aggregates from Cursor’s admin API. Prompts, completions, and session content never leave Cursor’s side in a form we store.
Before you connect
You need Cursor org admin access and a plan that includes the admin API (Business or Enterprise). Generate the key in Cursor’s admin console under something like Settings → API Keys.
Setup
- Create an admin API key in Cursor and copy it.
- In the platform: Settings → Integrations → Connect on Cursor.
- Paste the key, Test connection, then Save.
First numbers usually appear within a few hours; after that it refreshes on a schedule (often weekly for some metrics).
Rotating a key
Keys get rotated like any other secret. Settings → Integrations → Update on Cursor, paste the new key, test, save. History in the app stays; only new data needs the fresh credential.
When something’s wrong
Test fails: Confirm you’re an org admin and the key wasn’t revoked in Cursor.
Nothing showing up: Give it 24 hours after a successful test. If it’s still empty, the key may lack admin scope or your plan may not expose the API.
